Get chatting about climate and nature action.
Giving people a place to share, talk about and celebrate their ideas, plans and action to tackle climate change and protect nature is what the Basingstoke Area Sustainability forum is all about.
Anyone and everyone is welcome to come along to the forum for free to watch thought-provoking presentations and get involved in interesting discussions.
The forum usually meets once every two months, with meetings held online on Microsoft Teams. The dates for the next two meetings are:
Thursday 16 January 2025 from 4pm to 5pm
- 4pm to 4.20pm: Home composting basics and promoting it to others
- 4.20pm to 4.40pm: Climate Fresk taster
- 4.40pm to 5pm: Round table for members to update each other on their work
Thursday 13 March 2025 from 4pm to 5pm
Interested in joining?
Great. Pop an email to the borough council’s climate change team and they’ll sign you up for free. Once you’re a member, you’ll get the meeting agendas in advance so you’ll know what’s coming up.
Not sure if the forum is for you?
No pressure… you don’t need to join to watch our meetings. While it’s only members that can contribute, our forum’s meetings are webcast on Microsoft Teams – meaning anyone can watch them.
Are there records of prior meetings?
