Basingstoke Area Sustainability forum

A place for people to share, talk about and celebrate ideas, plans and action to tackle climate change and protect nature.

Everyone is welcome to come to the forum for free to watch thought-provoking presentations and get involved in interesting discussions.

The forum usually meets once every two months. Meetings are usually held online on Microsoft Teams. The date for the next meeting is:

The Overton Community Kitchen Garden is an allotment in the village where volunteers grow vegetables, like carrots and courgettes, for local people to eat – for free. It fosters social connections and community cohesion, makes healthy food more easily available for local people and encourages biodiversity.

This session is an in-person question and answer session from 2pm to 3pm on Thursday 5 March. It is behind the Redfort Tandoori, 20 Winchester Street, Overton. Please email the council’s climate change team to let them know if you are planning to come.
