Hatch Warren and Beggarwood

Biodiversity improvement zone in Beggarwood
Since 2020, Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council has been managing road verges in Hatch Warren and Beggarwood differently to improve habitats for plants and wildlife.
So far, the work has led to increases in the number and variety of wildflowers and insects, including butterflies, bees, moths and beetles.
